Depending on the season and my mood I can be found doing many things such as dancing, camping, snowboarding, and playing rock band on xbox. Health is important to myself and I work out and eat pretty well. I like people that also try and take care of themselves mentally and physically.

Ive been known to go on road trips and go camping at a moments notice. If something sounds interesting, I will try almost everything once. This had led me to have a great many good and bad adventures which make for some great stories. People who arent afraid to try new things and go on adventures seem to have more fun from my perspective.

Im the type of person that never has hung out with only one group. I like to spend time with many groups as my interests are always changing. My profile says that I can speak Vietnamese, but it's only enough to get by in a conversation ^_^ Let's just say that I understand the language well enough that I can translate for my grandparents when I take them to go see their doctors-- just don't ask me to read or write Vietnamese, haha!

Let's see... what else? I guess one could say that I was a "military brat" since my dad was in the Air Force. I don't believe that I've moved around as much as other military families, but I've had my experiences with living in different parts of the US and the world. I've lived in Illinois, Ohio, central and northern California, and Portugal.

I did not particularly like the humidity or the long snowy seasons in the Mid-western states; the only plus side about living in those states would be the 4 seasons, thunderstorm/lightning shows ^_^ and harvesting fruits/vegetables.

My dream state to possibly live in would probably be Colorado = It's so green! The Colorado River itself is magnificent, there are tons of outdoorsy stuff to do like hiking, biking, mountain climbing, skiing, horse back riding, white water rafting... ah *sigh* and the weather is so nice-- just enough sunshine and rain fall (thunderstorm/lightning show!). It is a perfect balance between California and Mid-western benefits combined together! (Somehow I feel like I'm promoting an advertisement >_> But I'm not! I just like the state of Colorado a lot =X)

I'll stop rambling now.

Right now I am at a point in my life where I am most passionate about creating a beautiful relationship with a great man. I do know what I want. I want a husband who is my partner in life, my best friend, and of course a great love. The man that fits me best is educated, motivated, open minded about spirituality, over the bar scene, and understands how to communicate in a relationship. He also lives a healthy lifestyle most of the time, but knows how to relax and enjoy life too. Hi, I'm Bernard and I live in Loma Linda, California. Actually, I was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. I lived there with my parents until I was eight when we moved here to the San Bernardino Valley. I called Redlands, California home until I moved here to Loma Linda about two years ago. I graduated from the University of Redlands with BA's in Business Administration and Government and a minor in Race and Ethnic Studies. I plan on going back to finish law school. I just have a couple of years left before I graduate. From there, I hope to take the California Bar Examination, pass it, get my law license, and practice law somewhere in the area.

I definitely think of myself as an overachiever. As with everything else I have done, I just have worked as hard as I possibly can in school to get good grades and to try to finish my education one day. I like to stay informed as much as I can about everything going on in the world. Also, I would say that I am definitely a perfectionist. Good enough is never good enough for me. I always think I can and should do better. That directly leads me to be the highly, self-motivated person that I am. Additionally, I like to keep everything neat and organized around me.

Even though I am a very focused and goal-oriented person, people around me say that I am also pretty easy-going, and that, I have a good sense of humor. I do try to balance work and play as best I can. Enjoying your journeys in life is I feel just as important as reaching the destinations you set out for yourself.

My favorite television shows right now are Ghost Hunters and Family Guy. Recently, I have gotten into watching the Food Network. The funny thing is that I can't cook even if my life depended on it, but I hope that by watching Food Network enough I will pick up some cooking expertise. I also love anime.

And like most people, I also like to relax by listening to all different kinds of music, except polka, surfing the net, talking with, chatting with, and/or texting my friends. Playing video games is something else I love to do to blow off some steam. And if I can spare the time, I do like to play basketball and tennis. I actually was on my high school's tennis team as a doubles player.

In the question of which is worse, ignorance or apathy?... apathy is worse by far. I'm a very caring person and I believe life is extraordinarily precious; I live everyday grateful for the last. At times I can be serious, othertimes burlesque... but I have a kind heart and I treat others with respect. I'm easily entertained and can frequently be found with a smile on my face. Humor and exercise is how I relieve stress, and I take pride in being funny, fit, and living a healthy lifestyle.

Other fun facts are that I'm finishing my doctorate, I'm trying to head farther west to get out of the Inland Empire, I'm a drummer in a classic rock band, I like cats and dogs, Dodgers and Angels baseball, science, traveling, and people who think about more than themselves. Hello all, my name is royzane. I guess people would be interested to know that I am a contemporary artist, I create meaningful sculptures out of all kinds of stuff ranging from welded metal to vinyl record albums. I have just discovered that what I want most in life is to be inspired. I also sing and write songs for the guitar , I could play for you if you want! I was in San francisco last year and the police had arrested this woman, she was handcuffed and screaming, "someone help me" as the two officers took her over the threshhold of the escalator leading into the subway. I could see in her face that she was in fear for her life,( kind of like you can hear the difference between hungry cries and painful cries in babies) I could hear her fear. She tried to drop to the ground and the police held her up and forced her over the edge, No one said a word, I did not say a word! It happened very fast of course but that is no excuse, I have shortened the story greatly and would love to tell you more about it but , long story short, I swore to my self from that moment forward, to stand up and be heard when i see situations of wrongs.

First... I have not put any pictures up. I realize this is unfair, especially in our modern digital age, but read on before you write me off.

I have no problem attaching some pics for you in an email if you are interested. I am actually pretty good-looking (using my mom as a source) but don't want to put any pics up because I work at a local university and want to keep some level of privacy for myself. Plus, I'm not a fan of taking pictures, don't have too many, and am not impressed with myself in any of the pics I do have. In real-life, however, I am quite a specimen.

OK, that's out of the way. Filling out these boxes seems very tedious to me so I am going to keep this simple. I think the best way to describe myself is as a walking contradiction. So...

I'm a divorced mother of 1 with a career, a house, and a dog. The only thing I am missing is my other half.

I enjoy going to the beach anytime of year - summer time is usually spent in the water practicing my surfing skills or working on my tan, while winter is reserved for long, quiet walks in the sand. I am content sitting on the beach, wrapped in a blanket, just watching the waves roll in. There is nothing more peaceful. Also during the winter time you will find me boarding the slopes in the local mountains or taking sporadic trips to Mammoth. I enjoy bar hopping just for the atmosphere of meeting new people in different places. I often go to Hollywood for the entertainment value or to just grab a hot dog at Pinks. I travel as much as possible and often find myself going on cruises rather than your typical hop on a plane, get a hotel and go sightseeing.

I spend as much time possible with my son, but I also crave the adult attention too. I love spending time with my friends - I would rather have a few close friends who I can tell anything to rather than a lot of acquaintances who don't know my deepest, darkest secrets. My house is always the place of social events - I can host a mean party.

Ugh, I hate this stuff. I am 26 and live with some crummy roommates in Redlands. I graduated from the U of R with a degree in History and Theatre. I am currently studying to get into Law School, not much else I can do with my degree. Why not research and act my way through court? I love going out to do anything and everything. I am a big fan of theatre, movies, going to museums, art galleries, etc. I love to go just about anywhere.

I am a transplant into Southern California. I grew up in Pittsburgh. Hence, the Steelers obsession. I went to a small state university located between Pitt and Penn State. After I graduated, I moved to the Inland Empire. I am still adjusting to living in California... but I do enjoy living here!
