My child has been attending LLA since kindergarten and is now in 5th grade. I have not been able to obtain adequate answers as to the type of standardized testing students take and how the school compares to some of the best performing public/private schools in the local area. LLA does not do a great job in alleviating this concern amongst parents who raise it. This information is not readily available. Given the high tuition, this is a sacrifice for many. Greater availability/awareness of LLA academic indicators as compared to better performing pubiic and private school would help. Also, lunch and numerous other school incidentals are overpriced. I do like the spiritual aspects of the curriculum, but I need more openness about the different student/school performance indicators across grades given class sizes avarage 28-33 students per class.

Loma Linda Academy is the best school n the area. My 2 children are attending there, and the school has a great structure. Loma Linda Academy has excellent teachers, materials, library, art classes, music teachers, sports, good values, and everything.

The extracurricular activities are great. The Junior High just won the first place in a competition on knots Very Farm against the high schools of the area.

Loma LInda Academy is a great school, the teachers there are great people and they all love the children. I went to Loma LInda for all of my years in school and loved it. My two children love it there and I love it too, because there are so many opportunities for the parents to get involved.

I agree that LLA is a wonderful school. Although tuition is costly, the education is well worth it and every alumni i've know since 6th grade (now in sr c/o 09) has said that they are ahead in most of their college classes. Yes, most teachers demand alot from their students, but in the end, it is all worth it. Along with great education, there are no worries of violence occuring because there is 0 tolerance for it. Also, great events are planned bythe ASB officers, whom are great and very efficient. Some commodities, however, are a little overpriced, such as lunch from the cafeteria, but there is always the option of going off campus for lunch. The LLA Athletics department is exceptional, as well as the Music departments. The Roadrunners have a great sports reputation and the music department is nearly world-renowned under the care of one of the greatest music

The extracurricular activities are limited at Loma Linda Academy. Many of the surrounding public schools have more enrichment opportunities.

I went to LLA for my last two years of high school, and the time I spent there was invaluable to me. Thanks to the great training I received there, I was able to get into UCLA! Best of all, LLA equipped me with a real sense of purpose and values! There are spiritual battles to be fought out there in the 'real world,' and thanks to LLA, I have the solid background and the spiritual strength to face the battles! I will always be grateful for the top-of-the-line scholastic training I received and the solid-Rock evangelical Christian principles that were instilled in me during my years at LLA!

I am completely satisfied with this school

They provide the good quality programs for the students. There are not many programs for the elementary students. Parents are very much involved in school activities.

Great school. But if you are busy, it is not good idea to send your kids to this school. Some parents are heavily involved in school activites. That makes your kids feel left out.

We moved from northern CA in Feb. and I was absolutely relieved to find this school. I was terrified to think I would have to send my son to the public school which we were assigned to based on our neighborhood. Everyday I drop my son off I feel comfortable and safe he is in good hands. The tuition is costly, but worth it. I have had to make some sacrifices to send my son to lla but it's worth it.

Loma Linda Academy provides the best education money can buy. They teach more to and require more of their students. The teachers truely care about their students and do everything they can to facilitate learning. This school provides a safe environment to learn in with no concerns of violence. An education from Loma Linda Academy provides students with a solid knowledge base from which they can achieve anything.

I personally know children who attend this school. And I have discovered that it is not what you know or what your educational needs may be but who you are and who you know. It's very much a who's who's school with the feeling that if you are not the child of a medical professional or other high ranking person from the commuity your wishes and needs are not considered important. I have seen children who would be called 'trouble makers' because of fights or disruptive behavior given what seems to be no less then a tap on the hand and the ability to continue attending class just because their tuition was paid. My personal experience with LLA and LLE have been more negitive then positive. But I have seen children get some great benefits from LLA and LLE if their parents have the money to pay for it.

I am a former graduate of LLA, and this was the best school to prepare me for my continuing education in college. My college teachers were very impressed about how much I knew and how much was taught to me by my high school teachers. The atmosphere is nice, there are cliques, but what school doesn't have them? I am very satisfied with the way LLA has reared my sister and I, and I plan on sending my son there when he gets to be of age.
