MEND's volunteer dental clinic has experienced spectacular growth since 2008, when we conducted 972 patient encounters. With a total of $858,314 in grants from the UniHealth Foundation, we have accomplished all of this in less than two years since we opened in the heart of Los Angeles County's largest city.

Today, 36 to 60 community dentists are developing and see between thirty and forty new patients every month. They are trained to provide dental care to infants, children and adolescents, including those with special health needs.
